About 5,000 revelers converged on the shores of Towne Lake for Caldwell Companies’ 2nd Annual July 4th celebration.
The attendance was almost five times the number of people who came out last year to the inaugural July 4 lakeside celebration in the master-planned community at Barker-Cypress and West roads in northwest Harris County.
“We were amazed and grateful to see so many come out and enjoy the evening,” said Susan Caldwell with Caldwell Cos. “It was wonderful to see families and friends enjoying themselves, and to see the vision of Towne Lake come to life with boat rides offered by Bass Pro Shop of Katy, water skiers enjoying the recreational lake and people watching the fireworks show over the water.”

Hundreds of Towne Lake residents — and even some folks planning to make Towne Lake their home — celebrated Mother’s Day Weekend at the KSBJ Block Party at Towne Lake on Saturday, May 9.
In addition to lots of great food, refreshments and activities for kids, the block party
featured a KSBJ Special Events performance by contemporary Christian artists Jimmy Needham, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, and Chris and Conrad.
