The Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Program at Lone Star College- Cy-Fair has recently earned national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

LSC-CyFair is now one of only 19 institutions in Texas with this accreditation. It is a full five-year accreditation.


As we approach the ten-year anniversary of one of the most somber days in United States history, September 11, 2001, people across America will come together to honor and remember the victims of the terrorist attacks and those who gave their lives as a result of its aftermath.

An area in Cy-Champ park has recently erected a temporary memorial to all who have perished in the War on Terror, which will later become the site of the Fallen Soldiers Monument, projected for completion in the spring of 2012.

Residents of Towne Lake already know that it’s a great place to live. Now it seems the rest of the city is learning, too!

For example, the Greater Houston Builders Association recently named Towne Lake the “Best Community in Houston” in the under-2,500 acres category


Towne Lake Awards - Best of Show

Caldwell Companies’ master-planned Towne Lake community in northwest Harris County was named “Best Community Under 2,500 Acres” during the Greater Houston Builders Association’s “Houston’s Best” awards program recently.

The locally-owned company was also awarded Houston Best’s “Best Event/Promotion” for Towne Lake’s first annual free Mother’s Day Concert, which was held on the shores of Towne Lake in May.

“We are pleased and grateful that our vision for Towne Lake is being recognized by the market and understood,” said Caldwell Cos.’ President Fred Caldwell. “Our dedication to creating an extraordinary community is becoming a reality.”
