Stylish floor plans and beautiful homes reside in harmony with a festive and energetic calendar of recreational activities at the Heritage at Towne Lake community for adults “55 and better.”
“The residents at Heritage at Towne Lake are very active,” said Connie Webber Chuisano, On-Site Manager for the Heritage at Towne Lake.” They enjoy the safety and security of knowing their neighbors, as well as being a part of a unique community soon to be connected by water.”
The Heritage’s 13,000-square-foot Lodge clubhouse and recreation center serves as a focal point for resident life and activities. The $3 million-plus dollar facility features a "Living Room" in the main lobby, a Billiards/Card room, an Arts/Crafts room, a working Library with space for small meetings and events, and a spectacular Ballroom with elegant decor. The Fitness Room is equipped with state-of-the art resistance, cardio and weight equipment, as well as fitness classes specially tailored to Heritage residents’ needs.
“Many of our residents regularly visit the heated pool to watch the sun set over the lake,” Chuisano said. “They can also lounge in the whirlpool, work out in the resistance pool, or take a walk around the beautiful lake.”
The 2009 Heritage at Towne Lake social events calendar had something for everyone: fireworks on the Fourth of July, a Chili Cook-Off, ice cream socials, a Luau by the pool, and Oktoberfest. Regularly-scheduled recreational activities include bridge, Bunco, poker, Mahjongg, bingo, horse shoes and washers. On Friday evenings residents celebrate Game Night, which features an array of table games, mingling and friendly competition.
There will be several inaugural events at the Heritage in 2010, including a 1st Annual Car Show in January, and The Lodge's first New Year’s celebration and Birthday Party.
“We also hope to introduce several new fitness classes, such as Tai Chi and a dance class, to encourage our residents to have fun while exercising!” she said.
