The beautiful nearby Houston Family Arts Center (HFAC) will present the play “Twelve Angry Jurors” from the Teen Actors Guild Performance Workshop from August 19 - 22. The play is based on the famous movie “Twelve Angry Men”, and examines, through interesting and revealing drama, the prejudices, motivations, frustrations, and character of twelve jurors in the case of a teen being tried for murder. Did he do it? Is the case sound? Does it matter to all of the jury? Will justice prevail?
The play will be presented in the round on the studio stage, so the audience will feel like they are part of the play. HFAC is located at 10760 Grant Road, Houston, TX 77070. Tickets are $10 plus $2 handling charge, and information on show times and ticket purchase can be found at www.houstonfac.com.
