The CyFair Volunteer Fire Department holds CPR and First-Aid classes several times a month for the CyFair Community at the CyFair Fire Department's Business Office. CPR is a life-saving skill, and—with the more-active (and hot) summer months coming up—CPR and First-Aid are great skills for anyone to learn. You’ll also get to meet your local fire department members, who work not only on your behalf against local fires but also participate in several important and local CyFair and Houston charity events throughout the year.
The CFVD business office is located at 9630 Telge, and the fee for CPR class is $20.00, First Aid class fee is $20.00, or both for $35.00. To attend a class, please contact the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department Business Office at 281-550-6663 to sign up.
CFVFD has been part of the Cy-Fair community since the 1950’s, responding to 15,000 emergency situations with over 300 volunteer members from eleven stations every year. Here’s a big “Thank You” to a great department of great people in the CyFair Community!

Langham Creek YMCA is a great family resource, very close to Town Lake, providing an 11,000 square-foot newly-expanded facility as well as acres of woods for exploring. Beginning April 1, LCYMCA has several camps to consider for your children, from day camps to overnight adventures, all with the 100 year family reputation earned and maintained by YMCAs everywhere. The time to register your children is now, as spaces are limited.
The Day Camp for 5-12 year-olds has age-appropriate activities daily that are broken down for ages 5, ages 8-9, and ages 10-12. Arts and crafts, sports and general play, science, and swimming are just a few of the fun activities your children will experience.
