Cypress Assistance Ministries Collecting School Supplies for Area Students

As you are planning for your kids to head Back to School this year, Cypress Assistance Ministries (CAM) asks Cy-Fair families to pick up a few extra school supplies for their School Supplies Drive.

Each year hundreds of less fortunate families in the Cy-Fair school district depend on the assistance of CAM and caring Cy-Fair residents to help their school-aged children get ready for the new school year.

This year’s school supply needs list includes the following items:

Pocket folders with brads, red, yellow, green or blue*

3 subject spiral notebooks wide rule, 70, 120 and 150 ct.*

Pocket dividers with 12 pockets, 3-hole*

Crayola jumbo washable markers 8 ct.*

12x18 pkg multi color construction paper*

12x18 pkg Manila paper*

Red medium ballpoint pens

Yellow highlighters

Pink Bevel erasers

Index cards

Wide rule notebook paper 200 ct.*

7-inch Crayola map coloring pencils 12 ct.

5-inch Fiskars scissors blunt and pointed

5 tab/5 pocket dividers

1-inch asst. binders 3-ring*

1 1/2-inch binders 3-ring*

Pencil pouches

Backpacks*

*These items are always needed most

As a faith based organization serving individuals and families in financial crisis, those on the brink of homelessness, the elderly, the unemployed and anyone that needs hope for a better future, CAMs primary purpose is to restore their neighbors, regardless of religious or ethnic background, to self sufficiency.

When you drop off your donations, allow yourself a few extra minutes to browse through the Angels’ Attic, CAM’s resale store, which is filled with lovely items the entire community can enjoy.
