LSC - CyFair Hosts Lifelong Learning Open House

Are you over 50 and still have that spark to make plenty of new friends while continuing to expand your knowledge? The Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL) at Lone Star College - CyFair is perfect for you.

Join them for their open house on Saturday, September 10, from 9:30 am to noon at the Lone Star campus’ Conference Room 151 at 9191 Barker Cypress Road.

They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but at ALL you can chose from more than 80 classes throughout the year. Courses cover a wide variety of topics, including history, finance, exercise, dancing, gardening and so much more. They range in length from single classes that are just a few hours long to ones that are several nights a week for multiple weeks, depending on the depth of knowledge you seek on a subject.

For a $20 yearly enrollment fee, ALL members receive free or greatly discounted class rates, access to LSC’s fitness center, reduced admission to theater and musical productions, the opportunity to teach your own courses, and can participate in ALL’s many social events. The best part is you’ll have an opportunity to meet many other Cypress-area residents who share the same interests as you.
