Free Business Guide Offered by Lone Star College

A free North Houston area business start-up and resource guide was recently published by the Lone Star College Systems Small Business Development Center (LSCS SBDC).

The guide was created to give entrepreneurs the information and procedures they need to consider before starting a new business venture.

The title of the guide is “The Business Start-Up and Resource Guide, A Guide to Starting and Growing a Business in the North Houston Area”.

Several items addressed in the guide include starting a business, a definition of various legal entities, tax and insurance considerations, finance options, important information for writing a business plan and other topics related to opening a new business.

Six North Harris County Chambers partnered together with the LSCS SBDC in the publishing of this informative business guide. These participants include Acres Homes Chamber for Business and Economics Development, Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce, Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce, Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce, Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce.  Copies of the guide can be obtained at any of these locations.
